Improving your posture improves your health – INTERACTIVE WORKSHOP. Discovering the side effects of bad posture/sitting too much and what simple changes we can make to improve our health and wellbeing. Involves seated and standing Yoga Poses, Breathing & Relaxation techniques. 1 hour
Natural Remedies – INTERACTIVE WORKSHOP Learning many remedies our grandparents would have used to heal minor illness and keep the body healthy. Including food, herbs and spices, aromatherapy & homeopathy 2 Hours desk based.
The Menopause ~ Assisting the change – INTERACTIVE TALK/WORKSHOP This session involves latest research into natural ways to help the transition through the Menopausal years, plus conventional treatment options. Yoga, Food, Natural remedies and much more. 2 hours and includes lots of take home Resources. Lying down space preferred.
Reflexology – PRACTICAL TASTER WORKSHOP This is led by a fully qualified Reflexologist who will explain the history and benefits of Reflexology and invite participants to learn and practice simple techniques on each other. 1 hour
Indian Head Massage – PRACTICAL TASTER WORKSHOP This is led by a fully qualified Indian Head Massage Therapist who will explain the history and benefits of Indian Head and invite participants to learn and practice simple techniques on each other. 1 hour
Pilates for back pain & improved posture – INTERACTIVE WORKSHOP Introducing the benefits of basic Pilates poses and how they improve core strength and posture and thus reduce back pain. Will involve exercise on mats. 1 hour
Massage (can be chair massage) – HANDS ON WORKSHOP This is led by fully qualified Massage Therapist Mark Careless. He will explain the benefits of various styles of Massage and teach participants some simple massage techniques they can practice on each other , family and friends. 1 or 2 hours
Tai chi or Qi Gong for joint health and stress relief – INTERACTIVE WORKSHOP This is led by a fully qualified Tai Chi or Qi Gong teacher – both these disciplines have great benefits for stress relief and joint health. You will learn practical moves and exercises to benefit many health issues. 1 hour Standing space needed
Personal Protection Training – INTERACTIVE WORKSHOP This is run by Billy Wappett from Fighting Fit who is a very long established and highly proficient martial arts and personal protection teacher. He will lead you in a session that explores the benefits of being able to protect and defend yourself and loved ones and will teach you no nonsense techniques you can use. 1 or 2 hours Standing space needed.
Dance Workshops including belly dancing, ballet, zumba and latin styles – TASTER CLASS involves much joining in and having fun! 1 hour Standing space needed with wooden floor.
