Sound Healing and Breathwork in Bury St Edmunds
Sound Healing and Breathwork
Sound Healing
“Sound is to the nervous system what food is to our physical bodies.”
Joshua Leeds
All ancient cultures use sound for healing, from the Didgeridoo of the Aboriginals to the sacred Drums of the Native Americans and the Singing Bowls of the Tibetan Monks. Sound affects us on a very deep level and once you learn to be mindful of what you listen to, it will change your health and wellbeing for the better.

Breathwork
“When the mind is agitated, change the pattern of the breath.”
Patanjali Yoga Sutras
There is a sudden buzz around Breathwork, and many different “brands” are all competing to tell you that theirs is the best!
All ancient cultures practice breathing practices and the Pranayama breathing practice of Yoga that has been around thousands of years is one of the most well-known and adopted in the West.
Breathwork can Up-regulate (give you energy and increased vitality) your nervous system or Down-regulate (relax and calm you physically and mentally) depending on which practices you adopt. There is also a further benefit known as “emotional / trauma release” this uses Conscious Connected Breathwork to access the sub conscious mind and let go of unprocessed emotional experiences that may have been held within the fascia of the body.
